Title : Convergence of CR mapping / Gromov hyperbolicity of Kobayashi distance
Abstract : This talk consists of two parts. First, the normal family theorem for CR mapping will be discussed. Recently, Schwarz lemma for CR mapping between strongly pseudoconvex pseudohermitian manifolds was proved by a group of mathematicians. Its implication to the CR version of the normal family theorem will be considered. Second part of the talk will introduce the notion of Gromov hyperbolicity on complex domains. It gives a negative curvature-like condition for the Finsler metric on complex domains. Basic questions and possible applications to complex analysis will be introduced.
